What would your students do to save the gorillas? In this WebQuest they will investigate the plight of wild gorilla and then form groups to visit different Internet sites from organizations that are dedicated to saving the gorillas. They will then present their findings in class, coming to a conclusion about what should be done.

Teacher Introduction

This activity is designed to raise students' awareness of the peril the wild gorilla faces.

It is designed especially for ESL/EFL classes, but could be used with native speakers. Due to its ELT focus, there are many oral group activities.

The final goals are the production of group oral presentations and collaboration on the results of group research into the topic.
