Process

Tutakhamun's Gold MaskIn teams of four, members will work together and combine the information from the websites visited to determine “Was King Tutankhamen murdered?”

Team members will first meet to discuss project and determine roles: archeologist, medical examiner, historian, or reporter. Each team member will then go to websites located at bottom of this page to obtain information needed to answer their questions.

After every team member has gathered the information needed the team will meet to discuss information gathered by teammates and decide if your team believes King Tut died of natural causes or was he killed. If your team believes that he was killed, decide who killed him, how it was done, and why.

The team will then write a persuasive essay stating and defending the team's position on this topic. At the end of this page your team  will find "Persuasive Writing Help"  to help the team write the persuasive essay. The team will then create a group PowerPoint presentation explaining what they believe happened to King Tut and why they believe this.   Finally, the team will present their findings to the Egyptian government (the class) using the PowerPoint presentation.
