You and your group are trying to convince the other groups on the class that the dictator you have studied from the inter-war period (between the Great War and World War II) is, in fact, the best (or worst) dictator of all time.

Teacher Introduction

Hello!  When I sat down to write this WebQuest, I tried to come up with some way to have my students get interested in what can be a relatively dry recitation of facts and events.  Seeing as a started to write this during the Hollywood awards season, it seemed only fitting to try and create an awards ceremony to pick the best (or worst) dictator of the Inter-War period.  The five dictators that I chose, seemed to be the most significant leaders of the period.  Certainly I don't pretend to think that this is an exhaustive list, but does represent an attempt to make it work.
