This WebQuest is designed to help students explore the roles women played in WWII. The student have the option to research the roles of women on the homefront, in the United States or abroad, serving on the frontlines of the war.
Introduction
You are about to go back in time, to World War II.
During this time, women in America began to take over what were traditionally considered "male roles" in the workplace to fill-in while the men were at war. Women also served abroad, on the frontline, along side the men who were fighting. Both experiences changed the way that American women were viewed.
