Although we are not going to "test" how effective our science fiction hoaxes would be to our general population, I would like you to evaluate your own projects individually. Reflecting on your group's artifact, you will write a 1-2 page essay in first person, as if you were one of the population who is "fooled" by the artifact.
For example, if your group's artifact was a script for a conversation overheard in the school hallway that the cafeteria's microwaves had become radioactive, you will place yourself in the shoes of one of the student who overhears this "conversation." Imagine what you would think, describe how you feel (scared, exhilarated, sad) and what actions you would take as an "innocent bystander."
The essay will be collected at the end of the class and will be graded according to the Focus on Topic, Word Choice, Persuasiveness, and Organization sections on the rubric.
