Reads Sight Words from the Dolch Sight Word Lists (pre-primer, primer, and first grade) Reads 40 or less words from the Dolch sight word lists. Reads 70 or less words from the Dolch sight word lists. Reads 100 or less words from the Dolch sight word lists. Reads 101 to all 133 words from the Dolch sight word lists.
Uses sight words correctly in a complete sentence. Does not write a complete sentence and/or sight word is not use correctly. Writes a complete sentence using sight word correctly. Writes 2 or 3 complete sentences using sight words correctly. Writes more than 3 complete sentences using sight words correctly.

Uses 10 or more sight words to create a "Sight Word Book"(see anchor- example)

Student does not create their sight word book. Student uses less than 10 sight words in their book or student does not illustrate their book. Student uses 10 sight words and has illustrations in their book. Student uses more than 10 sight words, and  illustrations and writing are done neatly.
Student will increase their ORF rate on weekly assessment (over 4 weeks) Student does not improve their weekly reading fluency rate. Student improves their weekly reading rate by 1 to 5 words per minute. Student improves their weekly reading rate by at least 6 words per minute. Student improves their weekly reading rate by 10 or more words per minute.
Students completes the webquest Student does not complete the webquest. Student completes some of the webquest. Student completes most of the webquest. Student completes all of the webquest.
