This webquest has students study the language of Shakespeare, rewrite a monologue in contemporary language, and perform their piece for the class.

Teacher Introduction

This is a lesson designed to give students a better understanding of Shakespeare, an introduction to playwrighting, and continue the monologue work of an acting class.  I have designed this lesson for students who are further advanced in their acting skills.  This project has several assumptions about the students acting and memorization skills, and need to exist before this project can be used effectively.
