Introduction

Greek mythology is the collection of myths and legends belonging to the ancient Greeks thousands of years ago.  During that time, and even now, people have idolized their gods and heroes.  The ancient Greeks believed that the gods controlled the natural world, and interfered in the lives of humans.  We study these myths to better understand the religious and political institutions of Ancient Greece, its culture, and it impact on the world.  Come with me and lets learn something new.
