A Special Letter From Mrs. Frankweiler

To My Fifth Grade Friends,

My dear friend and lawyer, Saxonberg has contacted me with a proposal.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art would like to create a special catalog that showcases the many pieces of art that were previously owned by my late husband and me and are now displayed at the Met.  My problem is it has been many years since Claude and Jamie have visited my home and they were very good researchers.  I on the other hand, am not.

Sheldon, my chauffeur is a little concerned about the condition of my files.  As you all are aware, I have a very unique way of organizing my files.  I need the help of the fifth grade to find information about these pieces and write an essay for this catalog.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art has agreed that you may present your work at your Art Show in May.  These way teachers, families and friends can enjoy information on some of the finest collections of Art in the world.   But more important, to showcase your talents as expert researchers and creative presenters.
