Students will use Internet resources to gather data on roller coasters and represent the data that they found in a table and in a graph format.

Introduction

How many people like roller coasters?

What is your favorite ride?

Why is it your favorite ride?

As a class, create a list of criteria that the students use to decide if they like a ride or not.

Once they have generated a list, introduce them to the web quest and have then get to work on picking which rides they are going to research and creating their table, graphs and brochures.
