You will dive into the world of mystery writing. Students will read and analyze mysteries and then writing one of their own!!
You will find that this WebQuest involves a lot of time with partners. These tasks can also be made into groups of three or more if your class learns better in a group environment. Please make sure that students turn in the task before beginning the next because it can become quite confusing if students start skipping ahead. I would also prepare a student model of a mystery story to show an example of an advanced essay and why it is advanced.
