Students get a realistic look at what it means to live on their own financially and assess themselves for a future career


Renting an apartment, buying a car, watching TV, talking on the phone - it all costs money.  All the things that you take for granted because your parents have covered the costs - it all costs money. The normal things you expect in a household - electricity, running water, heat, and food? Guess what? They all cost money! How are you going to pay for all these things in order to survive?  Follow through with the activities in this lesson and get a realistic look at what it means to live on your own and assess yourself for a future career.
