This WebQuest will take the learner through a crash course of basic filmmaking as well as introduce them to online materials and sites that are helpful in the world of filmmaking.

Teacher Introduction

This WebQuest is designed to introduce students to the world of filmmaking.  It will help students learn the basics of filmmaking.  They will have the chance to explore filmmaking concepts and the professional skill it requires to make films.  Students will take part in a real filmmaking experience, taking a concept through scripting, pre-production, production, and post-production.  They will finish this experience with a write up of what they learned and how it affected them.

This is an easy to use lesson alternative that you can easily incorporate into your schedule.
