I would like to thank Ray DeLea of Owens Valley History for giving me permission to use Manzanar photos from his webpage. I would also like to thank my grandfather, Minoru Nakamura for enduring Manzanar and discrimination for being a Japanese American during difficult times in our country's history. He has shared with me many invaluable stories and life-lessons from his personal experiences. He is a true inspiration. I also want to thank my college instructor, Wendi Anderson. Prior to taking her class, I knew little about incorporating technology and projects into the curriculum. Thanks to her MANY difficult, but worthwhile assignments, I know more than I ever thought I would know about the importance of using technology in teaching.
