The purpose of this webquest is for students to learn about some of the natural and built National or World Heritage sites found in Australia. They will investigate the features and history of these sites and evaluate their significance.
Introduction
Every year, executives from leading travel agencies around Australia meet to hear advice from Tourism Australia about how to entice travellers to Australia. After hearing the advice, the panel of travel agents must choose 4 destinations (2 natural and 2 built) to feature in their advertising campaign. Out of these 4, they must then choose one site to lead the advertising campaign and feature first on the cover of brochures, posters and in television advertisements.
