This webquest is designed specifically for Stage 2 (Grade 3 and 4) students in NSW,  Australia.

Background knowledge:
The students will need to have the following background knowledge in order to maximise the learning benefits of this webquest.

1) Mapping: students should have knowledge of the states, capital cities, rivers, mountain ranges and the location of important natural and built features of Australia.

2) Heritage sites: students should have an understanding of how sites qualify as heritage sites either on the National or World Heritage lists.
