Task

You will investigate the benefits of trees, the causes and effects of deforestation, and possible ways to help conserve the world's forests.

You will investigate the issue of deforestation and use what you have learned to play the Peace Corps Challenge game. In the game, you will consider the needs of the villagers in Wanzuzu and work with them to select the best tree species to replant in their community.

Finally, you will explore the value of trees in your own community and educate others by creating a guide that identifies your local trees and describes their benefits.
