This is an interactive trip through the solar system which looks at the distinguishing characteristics of each planet, and guides students in creating a model of the solar system, and a planet of their own.
An astronaut has been lost in space and NASA has asked you to find him!
The communication transmitter isn't working at the moment so NASA has no idea where this poor astronaut is. While they are repairing the transmitter, they have asked that you start researching each planet in detail, so that when communication is re-established, you will be able to find him!
Once you figure out where the astronaut is, use the information you have gathered to create a model of the eight planets.
If you complete your mission early, you will be able to create your own planet!
