Students study components of the solar system. Each student chooses their own planet, moon, asteroid, or comet to research for information and graphics. They must then add creative design to complete a PowerPoint presentation of their planet, moon, asteroid, or comet to the class. Students then write up a sales pitch in efforts to get people to colonize their property. Students learn from their research and that of others in the classroom.

You are the new owner of one of the planets, moons, asteroids, or comets in our solar system. You want people to move to and colonize your property to make a profit ($). You have to inform them of your property, what it offers, and persuade them to invest. Why is your property worth the move?
