This Webquest is an interactive teaching tool for students to learn figurative language. This web quest, satisfies the following Georgia Standards of Excellence, ELAGSE5RL4: Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including figurative language such as metaphors and similes.

 Figurative Language 

Figurative language is when you use a word or phrase that does not have its normal everyday, literal meaning.  Figurative Language can be tricky but if you use this Webquest properly, you'll be a figurative language pro!
