Utah's Rockin'Rocks WebQuest is the rock cycle using rocks native to Utah.

Introduction

    You are on a vacation in Utah and discover there are rocks everywhere. Just look at the mountains, the canyons, and the desert.  I wonder how the rocks formed.  I wonder if they are all the same kind of rocks.  Be a rock detective and explore, discover, and identify these rocks.  Could they have formed at the same time?  Were there ever volcanoes in Utah?  Why do I find seashells at Lake Powell?   Could rocks have a cycle like water?
