This webquest is designed to help fourth grade students to identify the three types of rocks. They will be able to identify ways of classifying rocks.
Introduction
The world renowned geologist, Professor Bonneville has been asked by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to create an informative display on the three types of rocks for their museum in Salt Lake City, Utah . Unfortunately, Professor Bonneville is stuck "between a rock and a hard place"! He has been so busy planning his speech for opening night, that he hasn't started on the exhibit! As amateur geologists, Professor Bonneville has asked for your help in completing his display.
