Conclusion
Now that you have completed a resume of a character from Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice, you hopefully have a better illustration of what the 19th centery was like. This time period is easily captured in the various characters of the novel, through their interests, hobbies, clothing style, favorite foods, etc. By "becoming" the character yourself, hopefully you were able to enjoy the various elements of the time period. I encourage you to go back and re-read Pride and Prejudice, as I'm sure you will pick up on the different unique characteristics of the time period that you did not know before your research. If this assignment has sparked some interest into this time period, I would suggest researching the biography of Jane Austen and how she compared to the characters in her novel.
