You will examine the causes and consequences of the almost complete extermination of the European Jewish population during WWII. After your examination of the attempted genocide in Europe, you will conduct a comparative inquiry in which you will compare and contrast the decimation of the native populations in the United States with that of the Jewish Holocaust. In this comparative inquiry, you are required to develop a group thesis stating whether or not these two events can be compared. You will need to provide detailed evidence, as well as your own opinions and perceptions, in support of your thesis.
