Introduction

"It's raining cats and dogs!" shouted Scott. His little brother Albert became very excited.
"Good. Free puppies and kittens! Now, Mom and Dad will let me have a pet for sure!" squealed Albert as he scrambled to look out the window.
" It's not really raining kittens or puppies, Albert. When I say it's raining cats and dogs, I just mean it's raining very hard." explained Scott.
" I hate the rain." sighed Albert.
"I wish it would really rain cats and dog and never rain water again." Albert moaned.
"Oh, Albert. Don't say that. We would not be alive if it never rained." explained Scott.
"Why would we not be alive? Where does rain come from? Why does it rain water?" questioned Albert. "Whoa! Wait just a minute! One question at a time. You're making my head spin." exclaimed Scott.
