Today’s business people are often required to make informed ethical decisions on a daily basis. As a result, business programs across the nation are integrating ethics into their curriculum.

Popular entertainment media has successful presented issues of business ethics. These movies provided excellent vehicles for the identification and analysis of ethical issues as applied to contemporary business practices.

During this WebQuest you will learn the basics of business ethics; key ethical theories; review issues of insider trading, fraud, corporate responsibility, outsourcing, and mergers and acquisitions. Individually you will complete an ethics survey and reflect on the findings. You will also watch one of the assigned movies that focuses on one or more of the ethical issues you have researched. You will prepare a PowerPoint presentation that provides a plot summary and an ethical analysis of the film. Additionally, you will submit the responses to the questions as well as a reflection on the results of your survey. Upon completing this project you will have gained experience identifying and analyzing key ethical issues.
