Students will research what life was like for certain people by reading a diary, letter or other primary source written during World War I. They will explore various events or battles, conditions that might have affected their lives and reflect on how those things changed their lives.

Introduction

You will assume the character of an individual who lived during World War I and travel back in time to read a document that "you wrote" during the war. You will use "the new voice" to describe how the war changed your life by including references to events that happened during the war years and how they affected you.
