This Web Quest is designed to introduce primary age children to the various animals that live in the Polar Arctic Region. Once they are familiar with the animals, they can choose to become one of them. They will have to discover how the animal of their choice survives in this harsh habitat.

This Web Quest can be used as a fun way to begin a Winter theme after the Christmas Holidays.  It easily integrates Science and Language Arts.  As well, it attends to a multi-intelligence approach by encourages children to use the sign system that they are most comfortable with to display and present their work.
