This WebQuest is about American symbols.
Teacher Introduction
This webquest is based on the fact that one learns better when they teach the material to someone else; therefore your students have been given the task of teaching a new classmate about the patriotic symbols of the United States. The webquest follows the patriotic symbols and practices as outlined in the Virginia Standards of Learning for first grade Social Studies. The culminating project is a scrapbook of facts about the symbols, which serves as a tangible resource of what students learned.
