This is to teach the water cycle (hydrologic cycle)to upper elementary (grades 3-5) students.

Introduction

Have you ever wondered why it seems to rain so much in Western Washington?  Did you know that Boston, Massachusettes (nearly 3,000 miles away from here, on the opposite coast) gets just as much and sometimes MORE rainfall per year than we do?

What Geologic features do these two places have in common?  Where does all  that rain in the clouds come from anyway?....Don't the clouds get carried away by the wind?  How do they form again and again and again?  Will this ever change?

Come along with me as we try to answer some of these questions, (and even think of more questions to ask), in our Wonderful World of Water Webquest.

Come on! Let's Go!
