This WebQuest is designed for students to learn about different world communities. Students learn about the communities in China, Russia, South Africa and Puerto Rico. Students will see similiarities and differences about each country as they begin their trip across the world. Students have the opportunity to evaluate their own culture and compare and contrast it with other world communities.
Introduction
Have you ever wondered about traveling to a far away country? What were some of the things you hoped to discover on your trip? I bet you've thought about what it would be like to swim like a fish in the crystal blue waters of Puerto Rico, or see the Panda Bears and the Great Wall in China! How about seeing reindeer cross the tundra of northern Siberia, Russia! Well, stop dreaming my friends and get ready to travel all the way across the world! Today is your chance to explore some of the most fascinating countries on the planet!
