                    *  Students will illustrate the life cycle and label.

                    *  Students will use a magnifying glass to discover the differences between a butterfly and a moth.

                    *  Students will write facts on an organizer.

                    *   Students will research on the internet and in books to determine the types of butterflies that inhabit the area in which they live.

                    *  Students will create a poster with a partner depicting the migration pattern of the butterflies in their area of the country.

                    *  The final lesson involves a Power Point slideshow created by the students to describe the life cycle of a butterfly.

The students will have a delightful time filling their nets with all sorts of knowledge about butterflies.  They will enjoy the activities and create many different projects.
