Task
Dear Expert Party Planners:
Now that you have been hired as party planners, I have come across a fantastic party planning opportunity. I am writing to you on behalf of Mr. F. Scott Fitzgerald; He sent me a letter expressing interest in a glamorous party for his friends. As the Chief Executive Party Planner of Fabulous Parties, Inc., I am going to distribute this task to several design teams. Mr. Fitzgerald is one of our top clients, and if we do not come up with ideas which please him, he will seek assistance elsewhere. Your success in this corporation depends upon your ability to plan this party.
Each of you will complete a separate component of your team's work. Later, you will work together to create and present a poster/Power Point to the other teams. As a collective corporate unit, we will decide on the best presentation. The team that creates the winning poster/PowerPoint will receive additional compensation.
Be sure to use your lab time wisely, as other design teams are waiting for your space. Make sure that your sources are credible--be selective. You can't believe everything you read! Keep in mind that this project WILL require time out of class to complete it, as you have less than a week to plan the party. The individual sheets, poster/PowerPoint, and presentation are due Mon. Feb 12. Good luck!
