This webquest is designed to help students deepen their knowledge of the importance of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s by looking through the eyes of those that witnessed it first hand. It is hoped that it will also develope their computer skills and increase literacy. It is designed to celebrate and honor Black History Month.

Introduction

On Halloween, part of the fun is pretending for the evening to be someone or something else. We can have the same kind of fun with school subjects by putting ourselves into someone else's head for awhile. In this WebQuest, you are going to pretend to be a Civil Rights Activist.
