Standards
Accurate spelling (or speeling, as I usually hit on accident), whatever you consider to be up-to-par with your student's abilities, and a lot of creativity. Look for completely original ideas and reward them for good execution and systhesis of ideas. If their idea was good and the work was original, but did not come together well, do not punish them. It is the hardest stage, and we should not punish for learning.
