Teacher Process
Print out or find pictures of these animals:
- Emu
- Koala
- Kangaroo
- Platypus
- Wallaby
- Crocodile
- Dingo
- Kuckaburra
Post them around your room.
Copy a Travel Journal for every child.
Copy black line pictures of animals, one of each animal for every group. Place with "real life" picture of animals around the room.
You may want the students to work with an older class, e.g. 5th grade study buddies.
Set aside about one hour for this activity.
