Teacher Process
This Webquest should take about a month to complete if the students have 1/2 to an hour to work on the computers each week. However, they will also need time outside of computers to work on things like their maps, and to teach the other members of their groups about their regions.
Although the students are grouped by six, they are each researching a different region. A teacher could group people working on the same region together when on computers if there is a shortage. Another method to use would be once the class has garnered information, half the class could work on the activities that do not necessarily require the computer. They can use this time to supplement what they have learned with information from an atlas or encyclopedia.
