This WebQuest takes middle grade students on an adventure to find what it takes to have the best paying, most interesting job later in life. The focus is for struggling readers to hopefully see that it takes further education (which requires lots of reading) to gain such a career.
Introduction

Congratulations! Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places! You're off and away!
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go. - Dr. Seuss
Of all the jobs in the world, which one is the best? Will you have to read to get the job you want? How much? If you think you know the answer to these questions, could you explain how you arrived at it? Making decisions like this is an important part of life. They are difficult questions, but researching and thinking about it will help you to know more about where you want to go in life.
