During this webquest, students will choose from five different countries to travel to and learn about their culture and geography through the use of a daily journal.

Take your students on an adventure around the world! They love exploring new places, here's the chance to let them discover new places while using today's technology.
It was traveling to Hawaii that gave both of the authors of this website the idea to get their students interested in other places around the world. We also view traveling with the goal of gaining knowledge of diversity as an important outcome of this lesson.
Through the use of a daily journal and a groupwork activity, students are able to come away from this activity with not only new social studies and language arts skills, but also a greater appreciation for diversity.
