Introduction

This webquest is designed as an online lesson for educators to assist in the instruction of Phonics and Phonemic Awareness.

Teachers who teach grades prek-3 are always looking for ways to improve the reading and recognition skills of their students.

This webquest will give a basic instruction on how to teach phonics and phonemic awareness as well as several websites for supplemental instruction.

This webquest is also intended for teachers of upper elementary grades 4 and 5 who need to reinforce early concepts.
