Process

You will choose one historical figure that you are interested in researching. Next, you must research your historical figure and find out what their acomplishments were in life. Did they succeed or did they fail? Make sure to include their birthday and the day that they died.
Create a timeline of their life. Identify major personal events as well, such as birth, education, marriage, children, and the date of death. Don't forget timelines are important to lay out specific dates!
Examples:
Princess Diana of Wales
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
John F. Kennedy
Jesus Christ of Nazareth
Next, you have the challenge to predict the life of this individual. Remember, you are rewriting history so the challenge is for you to predict what their life would have been if they did not die. Be creative, keep in mind what they were known for.
On a sheet of lined paper, draw a line in the middle. One the left side of the paper include true facts and acomplishments of your individual. On the right side of the paper include facts that could have been and also what acomplishments your individual may have had if they did not die.

Finally, after you finish gathering all of your information and you are able to prove what impacts this person had on history, as well as what this person would have acomplished if he or she did not die, organize your information and create a biography.
Remember you are also going to present your biography to the class, so make sure that you prepare note cards if needed, or any other types of visual aids.
