The Ancient Egyptian Journey webquest is designed for students in grades 4-6. This would be appropriate in a class size of 20-27 students. If the class is larger, the webquest will be able to accommodate those students, but the school and/or student needs to have access to a computer. Depending on the students' needs, the webquest and the activity following the webquest can be adapted to fit the student(s). This webquest primarily incorporates Language Arts and Social Studies. It could easily be adapted to focus on math by having the students look for statistics instead of facts. The webquest is fun, easy to navigate, and is flexible! The focus of this webquest is for students to learn to research information about Egypt effectively and be able to communicate it to an audience. I also want them to be able to use their informative and creative writing skills when establishing the papyrus pamphlet.
