Process

Before planting your apple garden, you will need to find some important information.  Follow these steps to become an apple growing expert!

1.  Brainstorm a list of facts you and your group members know about apples. Also include the names of apple varieties that you know.

2.  Go to this website to look up different kinds of apples.

3.  Visit each of these links to see an apple tree in the four seasons...

• Spring
  
• Summer                                                       
  
• Fall
• Winter

5.  Visit this site to find some interesting facts about apples! 

6.  After finding all the information your group needs, together you will create one picture book with the drawings of an apple tree throughout the seasons, at least five different kinds of apples, each with at least two distinguishing facts.  You can add more interesting apple information to your book if you have extra time.

 7.  As a group you will present your picture book to the class.
