Process

1.  Students will research the causes of the French Revolution.  At least one of the web sources must be a primary source document.

2.  Each student in the group will choose a cause to researsh.  Divide up the task of reading about the causes and provide a summary to the rest of your team.

3. Each group member will use a graphic organizer to compile information.

4.  Students will discuss which cause most likely led to the French Revolution then rank them in order from most likely to least likely led to the event.

5. Students will then create a PowerPoint presentation to discuss their findings to the rest of the class.

Next it is time to discuss what cause most likely led to the French Revolution.  Be sure to analyze all the facts compiled in the graphic organizer.  Arrive at a concensus for each cause.

After arriving at a consesus, the group will create a PowerPoint slideshow to present their findings to the rest of the class.  Be sure to use graphics (pictures, cartoons, artwork etc.) You must have at least 1-2 slides for each cause.  After the presentation the class will vote to determine which group gave the most convincing arguments for their rankings.
