This WebQuest is designed for second graders. It explores the basics (i.e., habitat, types, diet, and predators) of penguins.
Introduction
Black and white is back at the movie theaters in a big way, but not in the same way that your grandparents know black and white films.... No, this invasion of black and white is in the form of penguins! From marching to dancing, penguins are moving across the screen a lot these days, and this trend shows no signs of slowing down.
In fact, I'm here as a representative from Emperor Productions, a film company from Hollywood. And I want you to help me! My name is Adelie Rockhopper. I'm working on making a movie about penguins and I'm contracting you to be my research developers. Just think, the information you gather for Emperor Productions will one day march, dance, swim, or slide across movie screens across America! Are you ready to dive in? Let's go!
