Individual Tasks
Task 1: This participant will be in charge of investigating roundtrip flights and airfares.

Task 2: This participant will be responsible for choosing hotel accommodations from a list of Disney Hotels, and calculating a cost per person.

Group Task
As a group you will layout the itinerary and budget for your
Senior Trip to be presented to the school board for their approval and to be presented to the parents at the next trip meeting.
This Group Task has 3 parts
Part I - Costs
On one page each of the major aspects (airline, hotel, and theme park package) should be presented with a brief description of each which includes total individual cost. You may design this any way you wish.
Secondly, you will decide how meals will be consumed each day (individually or as a group). You will create a separate budget for meals. If you choose to eat a grab and go meal (i.e. bagel, slice of pizza, sandwich, hot dog, etc.) calculate $8.00 for that meal. If you decide students will eat as a group in a restaurant, calculate $12.00 for that meal. Those prices include tip. You must come up with a meal budget that specifies breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each day.
Upon completing the costs for airfare, hotel, theme park tickets, and meals, you will figure out a subtotal. Then, calculate 18% of the subtotal and state this as a Taxes and Fees Cost in your proposal. Add the subtotal and taxes and fees to finally come up with a Total Cost.
Part II - Itinerary
Next, there should be a page
that states the detailed itinerary for
each day of the trip. This itinerary will include flight departure and
arrival information, activities for the day and meal times (if
scheduled).
Part III - Summary
In addition to this two page report, each of you will write a one page synopsis that will discuss what your task was, and what skills, Web sites, and software programs you used in this project. Did you find these sites easy to navigate for your specific task? Was it difficult to stay within the $1200 budget? Discuss the difficulty you would have had doing this project had you not used technology (specifically the Internet). Did each participant fulfill his/her responsibilities? What if anything would you change about this project?

Once you have chosen an appropriate flight, hotel, and theme park package to fit your budget, you will summarize this information on one page. A template for your proposal is also provided however, you may design this layout any way you wish.
