Teacher Resources

Additional Information

In addition to the websites listed in the WebQuest, students should each have a packet to bring with them to the computer room. The packet should include the vocabulary they are working with, graphic organizers to organize their research, and a checklist that they can use as they navigate the WebQuest.  This can all be organized in a folder with the student’s name on it.

Also helpful is an abundant supply of French/English dictionaries. I also recommend having assistance in the computer lab if possible, either a media specialist (wouldn't it be nice..), a collaborative teacher, or another assistant. It can get pretty crazy in the lab with printer jams and students pressing buttons!

Finally, a “HOW TO” (large printed posters or a computer projection of the technical processes) that would show students how to use accents and language tools on the computer would be helpful and would allow students to work independently.
