This webquest offers students a chance to look at the changing weather in our world. As our world grows and expands so does our weather. It is becoming increasingly severe and at times unpredictable. Meteorologists use a variety of technology to predict the weather for tomorrow. This webquest will teach you how to collect data, recognize changes in the weather and make a logical forecast.
Introduction
Have you ever wanted to become a weatherman? Well this is your chance! Students, we are in big trouble! Damon Yauney the weatherman will not be able to predict the weather for this week. He is caught in a horrible blizzard in Portland, Oregon. We need you to predict the weather. We need someone that we can count on and you have been chosen. You will be forecasting the weather for the next week. Afterwhich you will audition for the position.
