In this WebQuest, you will create a new room and draw it to scale. First, you will need to understand scale factors, ratios, and proportions. Next, you get to go shopping for furniture that will fit into your room (without going over budget). Finally, you will present your room (to scale) with all your new furniture and decorations inside. Use your imagination and have fun!
Introduction
Are you sick of your boring bedroom? Did you mom or dad decorate it when you were five and now you've outgrown it. It's time to update and create your own space!
Using your exsisting room and bed, you get to decorate the space any way you want. If you share a room with someone, I'm sorry, but you cannot kick them out. You must keep their bed in the room. However, you get be responsible for their space and decorated it how you want!! You have $1,000.00 to spend on furniture and decorations. You get to go shopping for blankets, pillows, rugs, lamps, desks, dressers, or anything you want. Be creative and have fun!
