This WebQuest is designed to help students become familiar with some of the famous individuals of the roaring twenties. The students will research different individuals and determine what important contributions he/she gave to society.
Introduction
Many people referred to the 1920’s as roaring because developments were occurring so quickly. History tells us that this time was filled with high energy, excitement for life, returning to life of normalcy after WWI, and racing forth with the new. During this renaissance, music, art, literature, and inventions were evolving quickly.
Who were the people in charge of these new, exciting changes? Why were they changing
In this webquest, you will become familiar with some of the major characters of the 1920’s. You will each choose one that interests you. After researching your individual, you will write a column for a fictitious newspaper about how that person contributed to society. How did they help make the twenties roar?
